Privacy Policy
Last updated October 26, 2026
Artistboard is run by Artistboard LLC, an Arizona company (“Artistboard,” “we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use artistboard.com and the Artistboard app, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your information to run Artistboard for you, we never sell it, and we never use it for ads.
What we collect
- Your account: your name or artist name, email address and password (stored scrambled, never readable by us).
- What you add: your artists, releases, contacts, shows, merch, money records, notes, photos and files.
- Payments: handled by our payment processor. We see your plan, billing status and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
- Accounts you connect: when you choose to connect a service (like Gmail, Google Calendar, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, Shopify or an ads account), we store a sign-in token so Artistboard can do the job you connected it for, and the data it brings in.
- Basic usage: pages and errors logged by our hosting so we can keep the app working. We don't use third-party ad or tracking tools.
How we use it
- To run your account and the features you use, like building your release plan, sending the emails you write and keeping your press kit current.
- To charge for your plan and send account emails, like confirming your email address, receipts and password resets.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to keep Artistboard safe and working.
We never sell your information and never use it to show you or anyone else ads.
Google data
If you connect Google, Artistboard asks only for what each feature needs:
- Gmail: to send the emails you write in Outreach from your own address, and to read the replies in those same conversations so they show up in Artistboard. We don't read the rest of your inbox. It can also suggest people you've emailed before as contacts.
- Google Calendar: to add the events you create in Artistboard, like a booked call or a show.
- Google Drive: only the files Artistboard creates for you.
- Google Ads: to show how your ads are doing.
Artistboard's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use Google data for ads, we don't sell it, and people at Artistboard don't read it unless you ask us to for support, it's needed for security, or the law requires it.
People you email from Artistboard
When you send an email through Outreach, it may include a small image that tells you whether it was opened, and links that show whether they were clicked. That information is shown only to you. Your press kit page counts its views the same way.
Who helps us run Artistboard
We share information only with the companies that run parts of Artistboard for us, and only what they need:
- our database and sign-in provider
- our website and app hosting provider
- our payment processor
- our email delivery provider, for account emails like confirmations
- the services you choose to connect, to do what you connected them for
They handle it to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security terms. Email us if you'd like the current list of these companies.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of selling or merging the company, in which case this policy still applies.
Keeping it safe and how long we keep it
Your data is encrypted while it travels and while it's stored, and sign-in tokens for connected accounts are encrypted again on top of that. We keep your information for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law, like payment records.
Your choices
- Disconnect any connected service at any time in Settings. You can also remove Artistboard's access from your Google account settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing hello@artistboard.com.
- We only use cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
Kids
Artistboard isn't for anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using Artistboard also means agreeing to our Terms of Service.
